Welcome to the week number 3 Tutorial Club at ManipTuts. This week, we're going to focus on this tutorial:

In this tutorial you’ll learn how to use different blending modes to professionally blend images, you’ll see different ways of adding lights and shadows and discover the way how you can add realistic fire to your pictures. Let’s get started!

n this tutorial, we are going to learn how to create a magical town where books are roads and whales swim under the clouds, where windmills float and magic wielders live. We are going to learn how to blend images so seamlessly that it would look like a single image using the Brush tool, the Eraser tool and several adjustment layers. We are going to learn how to make images appear when they are covered by the clouds, smoke, etc. We are also going to learn how to blend textures to an image to drastically improve the look and feel of the overall image

IMPORTANT: You dont need to recreate the tutorials step by step,we invite you to use different ressources and mix with your own techniques.The point is for you to take what you have learned and create something new and different!(but you can recreate the same if you really want....)


HOW TO PLAY

First, you must be a member of ManipTuts to participate. But anyone can join!

At the very least, simply read through the tutorial and make some notes. Bonus points if you try some of the effects! And you get a gold star if you actually use it in a manipulation!! (Be sure to submit your work to our Featured folder if you do!)
